JackHammer

The JackHammer is a large ‘walk the dog’ style plug weighing in a bit over 3.5oz and is about 9″ long.  These are fun to fish because you can work them very aggressively – creating a lot of surface disturbance – or you can work them slower for a more traditional retrieve.  They are fantastic for drawing fish up to the surface in deep water.  This plug has been highly effective for a lot of people over the past few years.  It has become a regular in my Canal bag – and has produced fish when nothing else seems to be working.
