Final RM/Guppy Collaboration Lil-P – The End of an Era

More than 20 years ago I was fishing the cape and received a call from Wayne Hess from Guppy Lures.  A mutual friend helped us to make that connection.  We chatted about plug building and fishing.  Little did I know that Wayne and I would become lifelong friends.  As many of you know, earlier this year, Wayne announced his retirement from plug building.  That was a sad day for surfcasters and marked the end of an era.  His plugs have been a staple for countless fishermen.  Over the years Wayne and I have collaborated on plugs a number of times.  These have become highly sought after by many.  This spring we decided we would get together for one last collaboration.  The fruits of that labor will go up for sale this Friday June 19 at 10am in my store.  These will go quickly.

I am proud to have collaborated with Wayne over the years and am both pleased and saddened to offer one last batch.  I hope you’ll enjoy and appreciate these.
